About the Author
Daniel Parish writes gripping British crime thrillers steeped in history, atmosphere, and slow-burning tension. Drawing inspiration from the eerie beauty of forgotten places and the hidden lives behind everyday faces, he crafts stories where the past refuses to stay buried.
A lifelong fan of classic detective fiction, Daniel blends traditional procedural grit with modern investigative twists. His debut series, The Bluey Files, follows DI Richard “Dicky” Sudbury and DS Kay Doyle as they unearth long-buried secrets in the shadowy corners of Bletchley, Milton Keynes.
When he’s not writing, Daniel can be found losing himself in old maps, haunting second-hand bookshops, or listening to records with more crackle than clarity.
